Kay Holborn Bond's work is inspired by the industrial past that was once a heavy feature of the local landscape. Shapes and forms of pieces are directly influenced by engineering drawings, mechanical and industrial objects and building structures. Textures and colours find their way into the work from observing how nature softens and reclaims the man made back into herself.
